Linden-McKinley extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-6 in the process. They lost 13-7 to the Marion-Franklin Red Devils. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Panthers' highest-scoring match to date.

As for Marion-Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games.

For Marion-Franklin's part, Drake Eisle-Lewis was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Jared, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run.
