Wisdom extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 0-13 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Generals' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Cesar E. Chavez, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since March 1st.

For Cesar E. Chavez's part, the team relied heavily on Juan Cardenas, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Giovanni Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
