Van had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point drubbing they dealt Brownsboro on Friday. The Van Vandals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brownsboro Bears 64-37. The Vandals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Van has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Brownsboro, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Van will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Canton at 3:45 p.m. on December 31st. Brownsboro and Tyler will round out the year against one another at at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
