Make it nine blowout wins for the Space Coast Vipers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Astronaut 76-16 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Space Coast has managed all season.
Space Coast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Hill led the charge by scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Phillayjah Carroll, who scored 22 points.
The win (which was Space Coast's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Astronaut, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Space Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Astronaut won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
