Rustburg found their leader in underclassman Lena Rosser, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rosser has scored all season. Haven Grinstead was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Randolph-Henry bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Rustburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph-Henry will take on Lunenburg Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rustburg, they will head out on the road to take on Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
