The Treasure Coast Titans had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 58-49 win over Westwood. That's another feather in the cap for Treasure Coast, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tyson Wilson had a dynamite game for Treasure Coast, scoring 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 8 steals. Another player making a difference was Tyler Shelton, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Westwood's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marquan Burgess, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Seme, who scored 11 points.
Treasure Coast's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Westwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will square off against Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Martin County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
