There's no place like home for the James River Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Radford 60-30 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point James River had established a 24 point advantage.
Caitlin Canada continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Honesty Liming, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
James River's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. As for Radford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James River and Carroll County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Carroll County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully James River likes a good challenge. As for Radford, Radford and Alleghany will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Alleghany presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Radford in Virginia (Alleghany is ranked 64th, while Radford is ranked 311th).
