The Seneca Bobcats entered their tilt with the Maplewood Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Seneca blew past Maplewood 42-22. Seneca's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Nolan Seabury had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Buscemi, who picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Seneca's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Joe Brennan was especially locked on to Maplewood's QB and sacked him 2.5 times.
When it comes to explaining why Maplewood lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Dominick Kinney. Despite the final result, he rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
Seneca is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Maplewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Seneca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Maplewood will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge Springs at 7:00 p.m. on November 4th. Cambridge Springs will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
