North Miami moved up to 228 from 289 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 8A District 13. The Pioneers climbed the ranks as a result of beating American 3-0.
Hialeah was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in the league. The Thoroughbreds beat Miami Springs 32-0 earlier in the week.
North Miami's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hilton Joseph threw for 148 yards and Tavaris Harrison had 50 yards receiving.
