Schlegel scored a full 28.2% of Dallas Christian's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Macie Perkins, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Dallas Thunder now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Dallas Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-8 record last season and are now at 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas Thunder will be staying on the road on January 5, 2024 to face off against Maypearl at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. After both having extra time off, Dallas Christian and Prince of Peace will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Prince of Peace is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
