Ribault hasn't had much luck against Duval Charter recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Ribault has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Duval Charter will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Ribault extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 19-11 margin over Raines. 19 seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Cristhian Leyva-Morales was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jaquarius Moore was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Jayden Villatoro also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Duval Charter came out on top against Bradford on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Tornadoes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since February 24th.
Duval Charter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Wellbrock, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Tanner Williams, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
The win got Ribault back to even at 7-7. As for Duval Charter, their record now sits at 9-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ribault has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Duval Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ribault suffered a grim 19-0 defeat to Duval Charter when the teams last played back in February. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
