While Bel Air didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Benson with a sharp 14-1 victory on Thursday. That looming 14-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Highlanders yet this season.
The team relied heavily on Ruy Anzaldo, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elio Ceniceros, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Bel Air kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Tanque Verde's record is now 2-0. As for Bel Air, their record is now 6-1.
