Perry had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Lakeside Dragons. Considering the Pirates have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Perry's record now sits at 19-6. As for Lakeside, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Perry will head out to face off against Kirtland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Lakeside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Geauga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
