Aiden Britt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, New Bern Christian Academy let Peyton Mills and Tyler Willis run wild. Mills got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Willis got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Willis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Fort, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.

The win made it two in a row for New Bern Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.0 runs over those games. As for Epiphany, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
