Erianna Sisneros made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Karolina Ruiz was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.8 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Cedillo, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
St. Michael's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .568 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Pojoaque Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against Robertson, falling 15-2.
Lauren Salazar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
St. Michael's record now sits at 4-0. As for Pojoaque Valley, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
