Quentin Road Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past State Line Christian with points to spare, taking the game 62-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Quentin Road Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
State Line Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Cooper Worley and Preston Roque. Worley scored 17 points along with five steals, while Roque scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. Worley is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Jackson Baumker was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Quentin Road Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for State Line Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Quentin Road Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marquette Manor Baptist Academy at 6:45 p.m. on January 30th. State Line Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Arthur-Okaw Christian at 9:30 a.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Arthur-Okaw Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
