Lago Vista has struggled against Lampasas recently, as their contest on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mia Kinslow, who scored 15 points. The match was Kinslow's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Eliana Helton was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Lago Vista's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13. As for Lampasas, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-18.
Lago Vista will take on McCallum at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. McCallum is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Lampasas, they will square off against Burnet at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Burnet presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lampasas in Texas (Burnet is ranked 136th, while Lampasas is ranked 867th).
