The Winter Park Wildcats and the Hagerty Huskies squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Winter Park Wildcats had to settle for second. They took a hard 58-39 fall against the Huskies. Winter Park's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Winter Park's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Seay, who scored 18 points along with three steals, and Maliyah Lockhart who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Seay has scored all season.
Winter Park's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Hagerty, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Winter Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hagerty, they will take on Colonial at TBD on Wednesday. Hopefully Colonial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Thursday.
