Middle College put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Animo Watts Warriors with a sharp 24-2 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Middle College's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.6 runs over those games. As for Animo Watts, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middle College will take on rival Animo Venice at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Animo Watts is set to face off against their familiar foe Alliance Health Services Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
