The Jackson Prep Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Christian Collegiate Academy at home to the tune of 60-18. The victory was nothing new for Jackson Prep as they're now sitting on six straight.
Jackson Prep pushed their record up to 13-8 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Jackson Prep will stay at home for another game and welcome St. Joseph Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th. St. Joseph Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Jackson Prep is ranked 42nd). As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Amite School Center at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amite School Center is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
