It was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Pleasant challenged Lincoln on Wednesday. The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals and the Lincoln Lions finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. That draw made it three straight for the Cardinals.

Their goal came courtesy of Joel Gonzalez, who's now up to 12 this season.

Mt. Pleasant's draw makes their record 8-2-4 this season. Meanwhile, Lincoln's record is now 5-5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will head out to take on Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Pleasant's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to challenge Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
