The Northeast Raiders suffered their biggest defeat since January 5th on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-33 loss at the hands of Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northeast in their matchups with Central: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the defeat, Northeast saw an underclassman step up: Jada Smith scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Central, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.
Northeast and Kendrick will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kendrick has now lost 17 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
