Pierz won the last time they faced Milaca and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pioneers blew past the Wolves 13-4. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Pierz has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Milaca, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

Pierz wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Upsala/Swanville on the 14th. As for Milaca, they will square off against Princeton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
