Football Recap: Elkhorn North Skates Past Ralston with Ease

Elkhorn North won the last time they faced Ralston and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolves claimed a resounding 56-21 win over the Rams. Fans of the Wolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Elkhorn North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jase Reynolds, who picked up 52 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground. That's the most receiving yards Reynolds has posted since back in September of 2024. Zach Wolfe was in the mix too, providing Elkhorn North with two touchdowns.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Baer Blecha, who rushed for 94 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Boone Blecha, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

The win was the third in a row for Elkhorn North, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 48.0 points this season. As for Ralston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkhorn North will host Gretna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ralston, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Skutt Catholic at 7:00 p.m.
