Logan had lost nine straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-9 to make it ten. They lost 18-0 to the Pecos Panthers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Pecos, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by ten runs or more this season.

For Pecos' part, Aubrie Lujan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Lujan a new career-high in strikeouts (three). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Arlanni Gabaldon was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Leah Ruiz was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Looking ahead, Logan will head out on the road to challenge Raton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 14 runs per game this season. As for Pecos, they will host Tucumcari at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
