Bremen is a perfect 5-0 against Elkhart Christian Academy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Bremen is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering South Bend Adams just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 21-11.

JJ Cencelewski put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Silas Laidig was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Zack Buszkiewicz was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Elkhart Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to North Judson-San Pierre. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.
Gray Reynolds made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Isaac Hurt, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Elkhart Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Elkhart Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bremen has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Elkhart Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging 12 hits. Given Bremen's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
