The Washington Eagles posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Scarborough 78-49 on the road. With Washington ahead 46-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadyn Barnes, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 21 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Webb, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
Washington's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Scarborough, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Washington will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Kashmere at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Kashmere is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Scarborough, they will be playing at home against Worthing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Worthing has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 363 points over their last five games.
