Daniell Robinson was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Kadance Ward was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Rhiley Buchanan was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one RBI.
Even though they lost, Freedom kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. This was only their second loss (out of seven games) when they post 11 or more hits.
