The Florala Wildcats's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Andalusia Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, Florala was the victim of a tough 66-45 defeat at the hands of the Braves. Florala was down 55-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Christian Greasham, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Rayshon Coleman, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Andalusia unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Carroll by a score of 44-42.
Florala dropped their record down to 17-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Andalusia, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.
Florala came up short against the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in November of 2021, falling 54-47. Can Florala avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
