Crawford County scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 85-54 loss at the hands of the Tell City Marksmen. The Wolfpack's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, Crawford County still got an impressive performance from Braxton Bowman, who went 9 for 17 en route to 27 points. Another player making a difference was Blake Seibert, who posted nine points.

Even though they lost, Crawford County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in four consecutive matches.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Tell City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Crawford County will welcome New Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tell City, they will head out on the road to square off against Paoli at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Paoli knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Tell City likes a good challenge.
