They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-29 win over Widefield. This was payback for The Classical Academy, who suffered a 46-44 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jordan Wenger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Noah Osterloh, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
The Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Widefield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
The Classical Academy will head out on the road to face off against Palmer Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Widefield, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Discovery Canyon at 7:00 p.m.
