After a string of three wins, Berkeley Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Plant Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Berkeley Prep might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Plant: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 28-30, 25-22, 17-15.

Berkeley Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Plant, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Berkeley Prep will take on The First Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
