After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cranston West, Ponaganset was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cumberland Clippers a 10-0 shutout. In other batting news, Kyla Angell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jillian Baris, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cumberland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
