Wylie Prep Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.
Wylie Prep Academy had a senior duo take command as Layton Gerhart scored 20 points along with six assists and five steals and Riley Peterson scored 22 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Wilson, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Wylie Prep Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Dallas International, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Wylie Prep Academy will head out on the road to face off against Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Garland Christian Academy is ranked 859th, while Wylie Prep Academy is ranked 850th). As for Dallas International, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Alcuin at 7:00 p.m.
