Baseball Recap: Flowing Wells Comes Up Short

Flowing Wells lost against Cienega back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Caballeros lost 8-1 to the Bobcats. The Caballeros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tommy Padilla made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bruce Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Cienega, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Flowing Wells had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
