Wood River took down Superior 40-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Eagles led C2 District 8 in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Wildcats.
Michael Hansen put up the best numbers in passing as Centura fell to Sutton. He finished with 14 completions for 174 yards. Hansen's favorite target this week was Travis Holcomb, who caught 3 passes for 58 yards.
Blake Charmosta was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 113 yards on 14 carries as Ravenna lost to St. Cecilia. Teammate Josh McGuigan added to the ground attack by rushing for 30 yards.
Chance Bock was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Bluejays fell to the Bluehawks. The 5-foot-11 junior.
Sieczkowski was the best receiver in the league this week as Ravenna fell to St. Cecilia. Sieczkowski racked up 7 receptions for 111 yards. Dillon Hough helped Ravenna's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 10 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Hansen of the Centurions is the league leader in passing yards this season with 424. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Hunter Quinn. The Southern Valley star has 7 catches for 193 yards.
Wood River made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,557 from 11,628. The advance stemmed from a 40-7 victory over Superior last week.
