The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats and the Comanche Indians squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats had to settle for second. Scurry-Rosser's tough 41-21 loss to Comanche might stick with them for a while. Scurry-Rosser's loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was De'shawn Wren, who gained 95 total yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Kayden Bradshaw, who rushed for 102 yards.
Scurry-Rosser's defeat dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Comanche, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Scurry-Rosser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Comanche is on the road again on Friday and play against Gunter. Gunter is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
