Bridgewater-Raritan is 8-2 against North Hunterdon since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Lions at 3:45 p.m. Bridgewater-Raritan will be strutting in after a win while North Hunterdon will be coming in after a loss.
While Bridgewater-Raritan's victory against Ramapo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Raiders 6-5 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since May 9, 2024.

Matthew Cichocki was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since April 1st. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Kevin Kelly looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Kellan Komline was excellent, going 3-for-6 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Matthew Lehberger was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base and one run.
Bridgewater-Raritan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, North Hunterdon unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Immaculata by a score of 4-3.
North Hunterdon now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.
Bridgewater-Raritan came out on top in a nail-biter against North Hunterdon in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
