Starting off the list is Tri-Valley's Jace Waggoner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Waggoner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 213 rushing yards.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cole Olson stepped things up a notch to give Cascade the 'W'. Olson was dynamite, rushing for 195 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles.
Cascade's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Olson and Cascade will welcome Council at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Trey Bauer Leads Horseshoe Bend over Cascade
On Friday, Horseshoe Bend had to settle for second even though Trey Bauer put up the best numbers he has all season. Bauer rushed for 248 yards and a touchdown while picking up 14.6 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 97-yard run.
Horseshoe Bend is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. Bauer and Horseshoe Bend will play host again on Friday to welcome Salmon River, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Trevor Corn Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Trevor Corn of Garden Valley. Corn rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
Garden Valley moved to 4-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Corn and Garden Valley will host Tri-Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
