Hermiston had to start their season on the road  on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were  outmatched by the Richland Bombers on the road  and fell  60-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Bombers recently, as their  contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
  Aaron Villarreal threw for 107 yards  on 13 of 30 attempts.  
 Nathan Waelty was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards.  On the ground, 
 Kole Mikami rushed for 29 yards.
  Jackson Woodard was a one-man wrecking crew for Richland as he threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns.  Preston Bryant was in the mix  as well, providing Richland with two touchdowns.
 Hermiston will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Walla Walla  at 7:00  p.m. Hopefully Hermiston focused on turnovers this week  as team gave up six on Friday. As for Richland, they will face off against Hanford at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
