Dover had won two straight games and Lenna Bova did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Dragons walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pine Plains Bombers thanks in part to Bova, who had seven kills and six aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last nine times she's played.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Pine Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover is set to take on their familiar foe Onteora at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine Plains will face off against rival Webutuck at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
