Meanwhile, Fruitvale ended up a good deal behind Neches on Tuesday and lost 63-44. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fruitvale in their matchups with Neches: they've now lost five in a row.
Oakwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fruitvale, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
