Selah Meurrier paced Regents' offense, picking up 25 kills. Meurrier got some help from Maddie Niemeyer and her 45 assists. Greer Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Regents' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Regents will square off against Rossville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lafayette, they will take on New Albany at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
