Perrysburg has won three straight games at home, while Jackson has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets will welcome the Polar Bears at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Perrysburg 3.7, Jackson 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Perrysburg's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Ross as they made off with an 11-0 win. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Faris has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Perrysburg let Lucas Graham and Noah Lindsey run wild. Graham got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Lindsey went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Lindsey a new career-high. JD Zeeb was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jackson walked away with it. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 5-0 on Saturday. The Polar Bears' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.
Perrysburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 27-3.
