The Liberty Union Lions were the  42-33 winner over the Logan Elm Braves when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Liberty Union fell  50-42 to Logan Elm on Friday.
 Liberty Union lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Luke Williams, who  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matt Hinton, who  scored 12 points.
 Liberty Union has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season. As for Logan Elm, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record  this season.
 Liberty Union will head out on the road to  face off against  Circleville at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Liberty Union focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Logan Elm, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game, a  62-35  defeat vs. Washington on the 10th.
