Gosnell hasn't had much luck against Westside recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Gosnell 2.9, Westside 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Gosnell is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Wynne.
Gosnell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mckyna Craig made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. In other batting news, Vada Watkins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
Westside pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gosnell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Gosnell's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Pirates have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Westside, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Gosnell continue to outrun the ball?
