After losing to the Bangor Vikings the last time they met, the Lawrence Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lawrence walked away with a 41-33 win over Bangor on Tuesday.
Carolina Mancera continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. Mancera is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colleen McCaw, who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Lawrence pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Bangor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
Lawrence will look to defend their home court on Thursday against White Pigeon at 7:30 p.m. As for Bangor, they will head out on the road to challenge Centreville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centreville is facing Bangor at the right time seeing as Bangor is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
