In what's become a running theme this season, Chancellor gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat King George 72-28 at home.
Chancellor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Scott led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Johnson, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Culpeper County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 64-53 to King George.
Chancellor's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Culpeper County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Everything came up roses for Chancellor against Culpeper County in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 84-38 victory. With Chancellor ahead 47-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
