Two dominant signal callers in Cayden Benson and Caine Woods are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Creekside Seminoles and the Dalton Catamounts will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. Creekside is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Friday, Creekside blew past Midtown, posting a 79-3 win. Fans of the Seminoles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

| 10/10/25 vs Drew | 1 |
| 09/25/25 @ M.L. King | 1 |
| 09/12/25 vs Forest Park | 1 |
Eric Paul Jr went supernova, picking up 209 receiving yards and four TDs. Those four receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Creekside proved: they limited Midtown to a paltry 1.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Major Levell for the heroic effort on defense: he. Creekside didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.6.
Creekside's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up seven sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Cassius Burch and Tavarre Terrell, who each picked up two sacks apiece. Creekside got some further help from Burch: he picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles.
Meanwhile, Dalton got themselves on the board against Woodland on Thursday, but Woodland never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 49-0. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Catamounts this season.
Creekside better keep an eye on Nash Smith. He was instrumental in Dalton's win, rushing for 137 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Dalton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Damoni Black was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself. Another thorn in Woodland's side was Black, who forced one fumble and made eight total tackles in addition to snagging two interceptions.
Creekside's record now sits at 10-0. As for Dalton, their record is now 3-7.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Creekside has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 228.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Dalton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 165.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything went Creekside's way against Dalton in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, as Creekside made off with a 49-24 victory. Do the Seminoles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Catamounts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
