The Mangham Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-40 walloping at the hands of Madison. Mangham has not had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Madison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but B Vaughn led the charge by scoring 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarrion White, who scored 14 points.
Mangham dropped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Madison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.
Mangham will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Louisiana (Oak Grove is ranked 300th, while the Dragons are ranked 323rd). As for Madison, they will head out on the road to face off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rayville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
